This photo was taken during a walk along the promenade toward the Golden Gate Bridge at sunset. We only had one day in San Francisco and knew the chances of seeing the bridge were slim with the usual fog. As the afternoon went on, the fog slowly cleared, and we were lucky enough to experience it in full. We ended the day sleeping in a car park at the far end of the bridge for free — an unplanned but memorable way to finish our time there.
